Grass and Garden Debris Pick Up

 2024 Grass Garden Debris by Route Schedule

Grass and Garden Debris is collected bi-weekly by route, from the last Monday in March thru mid-October. Accepted items include grass clippings, potted plants (no pots), pulled weeds, leaves, and brush and branches smaller than 4 feet in length and less than one inch in diameter. Items should be put in garbage cans or biodegradable bags.

    Place grass and garden debris curbside by 7:00 a.m. on Monday of your scheduled week.
    Please do not place animal waste in the containers.
    Plastic bags will not be picked up.
    We will accept items in biodegradable bags or metal or plastic barrels with proper handles. Please keep biodegradable bags dry.
    Miscellaneous vegetation such as weeds, potted plants (please, no pots), twigs or small sticks can be mixed with grass for pick up.

For the safety of Borough personnel,

    Containers with rope handles or cut out handles will not be picked up.
    Containers that have branches or brush sticking out more than one foot will not be picked up.
    Cans larger than 35 gallons or weighing more than 60 pounds will not be picked up.

Grass and garden debris may also be dropped off by residents at the Environmental Center.

NO contractors or commercial vehicles. You may be asked to show proof of residency.
