Job Description:

Florham Park has an opening for a Driver/Laborer in their Public Works Department. A NJ class B CLD is preferred but not required but must be obtained within one year of employment. CDL training is available in-house. Experience in some or all of the following areas is required: building maintenance, sports field prep and maintenance, landscaping, snow removal, road maintenance, tree work. Mechanic experience and experience with heavy equipment operation a plus. Must be available for emergency call-outs, overtime and working some Saturdays. All candidates must pass a physical and drug and alcohol screening. References required.

The starting annual salary for a laborer’s position is $58,661 (approx. $28.20 per hour) in 2025, with potential for incentives.  They will receive full medical benefits and a dental and prescription plan.
